Control adjustments typically respond within 50-200ms (0.05 to 0.20 seconds). Audio and video feeds range between 750-1750ms (0.75 to 1.75 seconds), depending on local network conditions, internet speed, and location.

You have to download the Mixing Station Agent onto a computer that’s on the same network as your mixer. You’ll send a feed from your mixer to the computer that the agent is running on, and optionally a video feed as well. Then you just let it run and do its thing! You don’t have to download anything onto the computer that you’ll be doing the mixing from – Mixing Station Web works from a browser. 

Mixing Station Anywhere is specifically optimized for live audio, offering significantly lower latency than standard remote desktop tools, and without the risk of other applications interfering with the performance. Mixing Station Web provides volunteers with a simplified, custom interface that offers full or partial access to specific controls, ensuring a smooth mixing experience.

To access Mixing Station Anywhere and have the ability to mix remotely you must have a Mixing Station Subscription. Sign up for the “Everything Pack” subscription from the Mixing Station website or app, and we’ll walk you through how to set everything up from there.
