Lower Bandwidth. Highest Quality.

Spark is an HEVC (H.265) live streaming encoder. HEVC cuts your bandwidth in half and lets you encode your video in the highest quality. This elevates your content and conveys a polished image to your audience.

Enhanced Monitoring + Control

Have eyes on your video feed at all times, thanks to the Spark streaming encoder’s live preview and customizable LED light ring. You can also adjust your analog audio levels and run a network speed test onscreen.

Reliable Church Streaming Encoder

What makes Spark an HD streaming encoder you can count on? It’s equipped with our automated technology for easy scheduling and multistreaming, plus BoxCast Flow, our patented streaming protocol. Oh, and a handy microSD card slot to locally record a backup — just in case.

One BoxCast encoder, two versions

Spark is available in two versions: HDMI ($999) and SDI ($1,299). Need help deciding which one to buy? Read our blog post on HDMI vs. SDI video connections. Or just get both!

Advanced streaming made simple

Our newest live stream encoder box makes it easier than ever to broadcast high-quality, 1080p60 video, with a 4.3-inch touchscreen that’s quick to set up and easy to monitor and interact with.

Works with your live streaming equipment

With Spark, you can connect to your camera, video switcher, or live graphics computer. It features two ¼” stereo inputs and one 3.5mm input, so you can also connect directly to your soundboard. You can even monitor your live sound with the built-in headphone output!

Included in the box: Spark encoder, 12V power adapter, clip-on stand accessory, clip-on wall-mount accessory, hardware kit for optional wall mounting or attachment to 75x75mm VESA mount

Connect any video switcher to your Spark with an HDMI or SDI output directly into the encoder. Send a separate feed from your audio source, so you can combine your program video feed with your mixed audio.

This simple setup lets you mix in high-quality sound from a soundboard, instrument, microphone, or broadcaster headset with one camera. Send your video feed via HDMI or SDI, while sending your audio feed over balanced ¼" or unbalanced 3.5mm. You can also choose to take the audio directly from your camera feed.
