We sold our first branded BoxCaster to Case Western Reserve University.
Full stream ahead! Gordon, Justin, and Ron quit their day jobs to focus on their start-up company full time, and BoxCast was officially launched.
Soon after, we invented our signature streaming protocol. BoxCast Flow ensures flawless, professional-quality broadcasts — even when internet connections are less than ideal.
We released our second product, the BoxCaster Pro, a state-of-the-art video streaming encoder for the most advanced live streaming productions.
Having established BoxCast as a leader in the industry, we acquired Sunday Streams (a church live streaming service) to further expand our reach in the worship market.
Our technology became a must-have for organizations as they recognized the value of hybrid events. And a $20 million Series A investment allowed us to further accelerate product innovation and customer acquisition.
A groundbreaking year for us. We enabled users to produce over a million broadcasts, resulting in billions of live streamed minutes of live streams watched. Not to mention, we released several new features, acquired Stream Monkey (a Florida-based streaming solution), and partnered with Diligent Corporation (the global leader in SaaS governance) to power Video Manager HD for local governments.
We accomplished some pretty spectacular feats. We launched an entirely new website (you’re looking at it!), built a new product, and created The Block (our community newsletter for all things live streaming).
